This Stratocaster pickup set utilizes Alnico 5 magnets in a vintage staggered configuration, has a scooped mid range, and is scatter wound.  Comes hand wound with the more expensive 42ga Plain Enamel magnet wire and is RWRP in the middle position.   We have discovered the winding technique to achieve this scooped tone.  The set has lots of low end and trebles.   The pickup has a scooped mid range and gives an extremely glassy, clean, woody type tone, and a creamy compression.  Wax potted to avoid unwanted microphonics.
