The Emerson Blender circuit: In the neck position you can blend the bridge pickup in as much as you want. In the bridge position you can blend the neck pickup in as much as you want. DiMarzio Area 61 in the bridge position DiMarzio Area 67 in the middle position DiMarzio Area 58 in the neck position From DiMarzio website: The Area 58 pickup in the neck position offers excellent treble response and dynamics with low magnet-pull and the warm, woody tone of late-50s single-coils.
In the middle position, the Area 67 pushes sounds like the single-coil pickups of the late 60's bright and very clean, with reduced magnet pull for improved sustain, clarity and enhanced quack in the 2 and 4 positions.
The Area 61 in the bridge position brings a steely but warm sound to the table. As with the other two pickups, the Area 61 eliminates hum and features reduced magnet pull.
Combined in the Area Strat Replacement Pickguard, these 3 pickups create a unique and undeniably vintage tone. Comes from non-smoking home.
