VINTAGEArt Deco Waring BLENDORBeehive Chrome Blender ApplianceModel 1003 With Metal Pitcher & Lid To many, this
is considered the first blender in history (not the prototype, but the first commercially available blending appliance). What makes this particular "Blendor" so rare is the metal pitcher with no handle. I was unable to find another cloverleaf metal pitcher like this one anywhere on the Internet. This is a very special, unique, and rare blender. The very first blender was the Waring "Miracle
Mixer." The Miracle Mixer was
introduced at the National Restaurant Show in Chicago in 1937. "The Waring Blendor® name was adopted
shortly thereafter, and in 1938, the product was officially renamed the Waring
Blender." https://www.nhregister.com/news/article/Happy-75th-anniversary-to-the-Waring-Blender-an-11457018.php A "Waring Blendor" with this same patent number is located in the Smithsonian National Museum of American History. (https://americanhistory.si.edu/collections/search/object/nmah_324295)
